Extrusion Die Unit:
Extrusion die design unit of Alumroll is unique throughout the country by possessing modern facilities and machines. This unit not only produces the dies of the group, but also makes the dies for the similar extrusion factories in the region. A brief introduction of machines like two saws to cut steel billets to the diameter of 500 mm, Swiss milling machines of Bridgeport, British spark and wire cut machines of Eroda which are the products of famous international companies grant design and production of high quality dies. After receiving the drawing of an aluminium profile, die design and simulation is done considering some parameters including extrusion ratio, deformation characteristics of aluminium alloy during extrusion and strength of die steel. The die is then produced with the related machinery and then it is sent to the thermal treatment unit (which utilizes the German machinery and chemicals) for improving the strength of die. In addition, in order to keep the surface quality of profiles in the standard range and use the extrusion dies for a longer time, after production of a determined level of production for each die, the die is sent to the nitration unit. This unit benefits the modern electrical/salt furnace and ovens made by Degussa Evonik, Germany.
