One of the methods of coating which has been widely used in the recent years is implementation of electrostatic powder coating on constructional aluminium surfaces and stabilizing the powder in the ovens at 180-200oC. The powder is often the polymer compounds of polyester and epoxy-polyester which are used for outdoor and indoor applications respectively. Regarding the unlimited number of colors and patterns in the powder coating technology, it is possible to satisfy various demands of a wide range of customers. Furthermore, as the sensitivity of the coating quality to the surface prepared in the previous processes of production in less than other coating methods, e.g. anodizing; it has resulted powder coating a simpler method of coating which can be handled more easily.Therefore, these main advantages have motivated not only customers but also producers to have more tendency toward this method of coating. In this regard, four independent powder coating lines, for aluminium profiles and sheets are working 24 hours a day in Sanaye Alumroll Novin Company, benefiting the modern technology of the day imported from Turkey. As a result, this set of machinery enables us to perform our coating jobs on the products in four different colors simultaneously with the daily production of 60 tons. Regarding the high production volume of the powder coating lines, the dimension of pieces that can be coated is so big that has made our group unique and distinct in Iran. With the machinery provided, it is possible to coat and cure the pieces with the maximum height of 200 cm, width of 40 cm and length of 1400 cm which enable us to coat heavy profiles such as those used in heavy transportation industry. Finally, considering the belief and attempt of management as well as staff to promote customer satisfaction, implementation of best powders in the powder coating line is one of our essential methods of improving the quality of final products. In this regard, a long-term contract with Akzo Nobel Company, the first globe rank in the production of powder, was signed for supplying the high quality powder. As an overall glance to this unit, preparing high quality powder along with modern coating and curing technology have been done to fulfill the maximum level of customer satisfaction.
